God Almighty and The Holy Names
There are 3 Holy names, identifying: - God Almighty - The one true God. Messiah addressed Him as Father which is in Heaven. - Messiah - Son of God, who God sent to atone for our sins - and show us how to follow him and serve God. - The Holy Spirit - also called The Holy Ghost in The Bible. |
Sadly believers in The Father, Messiah and The Holy Spirit can not agree about how the Holy Names shall be written.
I have done my best to find all these 3 names, through diligent studies and prayers. It took 27 years before God started to answer my prayers.
A Saturday morning in 2001 God told me how to find His true Name: Throw lots, like the apostles did to find a successor of Judas: Acts 1:16-26
These names were my candidates:
- Jahve: Shown in a footnote to Exodus 3:15 in my Norwegian Bible - the only place in my Bible where God's name was shown.
- Jehova(h): Used by many, also Jehovah's Witnesses - in Norway they use the name Jehova.
- Jahoveh: My favourite - based on logical thinking during the last year before God answered me, but I had never heard of it or seen it written.
God told me to write each name on a piece of paper, hold them high and pray that the right one would show the writing up after I let them fall.
Only Jahoveh landed up, and it even landed upon a small plastic bag containing two A4 archive books, in this way also indicating higher quality.
A collegue at work listened to me when I told him what had happened, and then said: One moment - how do you spell it? If we do not find it on Internet you can just forget it, because there you find everything that is. So I spelled the name, and he typed - then stared at the screen.
I was excited, but since he remained quiet - just staring at the screen, my hope decreased. After about 30 seconds I asked: So you found nothing?
He answered: I found one document, but I do not understand what it says. He gave me the link, so I could study it myself later.
You find info about the document here - including how I found the Name Jahoveh on the web-site of Church of South India:

After searching more on Internet in 2001 - and the next few years, I found the interesting info below:
God's Sacred Name appears in the Hebrew Scriptures as four Hebrew letters: YHVH (Yud, Hey, Vav, Hey) - or YHWH (W = Waw).
This format is known as the Tetragrammaton. According to Jewish tradition God's Holy Name shall not be uttered, to ensure it is not profaned.
In modern Hebrew grammar this matter is so serious and important, that the verb to be is not used in the present tense at all!
Reason: To say I am - by using the Hebrew verb HOVEH (present tense of to be), would imply referring to oneself as being the Almighty!
An Israeli will therefore state in Hebrew: "I .. teacher", "I .. clever" - omitting the word am, to avoid profaning God's Name.
The rabbis within Judaism refer to God by saying Adonai - meaning Lord, or HaShem - meaning The Name (Holy/unspeakable).
After this, I understood that God's Name should contain the consonants YHVH, so it should be like this: Yahoveh
I also considered Yahoueh, after finding that some articles on Internet stated that God's Name can be written with only vovels: Iaoue
Since it is possible that the tetragrammaton also can be rendered YHWH, I also considered if God's Name may be written like this: Yahoweh
Finally I thought of that the letter w is pronounced double-u in English, and that the last u may sound like v - giving this Name: Yahuveh
After this I found that many Israeli/Hebrew words and names contain Yahu:
- Jews are in the Hebrew language called: Yahudim - Wow! Man tells the truth about the TRUE Yahudim
- Matthew in the Bible was probably named: Mattityahu
- Prime minister of Israel 1996-1999 + 2009-?: Benjamin Netanyahu
So here is my main messages to Israel - and the rest of the world:
- Yahuveh is what I believe is the Hebrew Name of God - almost the same as the more known Name Yahweh. (w in English = double-u!)
- Shmaa Yisrael: Yah Hoveh Eloheinu, Yah Hoveh Echad. = Hear, O Israel: Yahuveh is our God, Yahuveh is one.
Jonathan Cahn - an Israeli Messianic rabbi - has this to say about this topic:
- The I Am Mysteries - 12th January 2018
More known than Jahoveh/Yahuveh is the Name Jahweh, and here is a good video I found 5th July 2019:
- Glorifying God . . . Period, John Piper Sermon, Biblical Teaching, Christian Revival - 11th March 2017
The name of Messiah - maybe MashiYah in Hebrew:
- The Hebrew word MashiYah occurs 39 times in the T'nach (Tanakh) http://mordochai.tripod.com/mashiyah-concordance.html
I found on Internet that those who believe that God's Name is Yahuveh are using the name Yahushua for Jesus.
But then Yahusha was revealed to my mind - before i ever heard or saw it written.
When I Googled it, I found that the root word is Yasha, and that Yahu is contraction of the expression Yah hu - indicating Yah himself.
To me YaHuVeh means I Who Am, and YaHuSha means I Who Save. Here are some videos supporting that the true name of Messiah is Yahusha:
* The Name of The Messiah Revealed: In this document the name of Messiah is revealed to be Yahusha.
* The Greek Jesus or The Hebrew Yahusha (Part 1)
* TORAHTALK FIRSTFRUITS ep02 - The Name Of Yahusha
The name of The Holy Spirit:
I wanted to find the right name in Hebrew, and thought it must be Ruach HaKodesh, since that name is connected to Yahuveh on Google.
- Ruach HaKadosh then entered my mind - totally unknown to me at that time, so I Googled that too. It seemed correct, so I Googled more:
* Meaning of Hebrew: HaKodesh
* Meaning of Hebrew: HaKadosh - This last search also lead me to find this Hebrew song, persuading me that Ruach HaKadosh is correct:
* Hakadosh Baruch Hu - The Holy One, Blessed Be He
I also found a document indicating The Holy Spirit is a person. In 2018 the document was replaced by this Youtube video - saying the same:
* Who is the Holy Spirit, the Ruach haKadosh?
The main argument for this to be the correct expression in Hebrew are these two paragraphs:
Most people have been taught to perceive the Spirit as a “what”, that is, as a “thing”; thus the application of the word Kodesh;
which is the word given to describe Holy “things” or “objects“.
However, in Hebrew the Spirit is a person, and as such, is to be referred to as Kadosh; the Hebrew word used to describe Holy beings
or personages. Thus the phrase "Ruach haKadosh", and commonly translated as the "Holy Spirit".
- - -
Then on page 2 of the document I found confusing information, stated in these three paragraphs:
In Hebrew, the word “Ruach” (Roo-awkk) ending with “ach” (awkk) is feminine tense, assigning to the Spirit a feminine nature, character,
gender, or characteristic.
When the word being spoken is in reference to an inanimate object, then the tense is in reference to the predominant “characteristic”
of the item being spoken about.
But when a tense is in reference to a life form, then the tense is in reference to the “gender” of the life form. Since we know the Ruach to be
a conscious, living being, we can determine from the tense of the Hebrew word that the Ruach haKadosh is feminine tense, and therefore,
"female" in gender.

This started a troublesome time for me, having to wrestle with The Trinity Doctrine. I still have not got any revelation or answer to prayer
telling me that God really is a trinity, so I still believe that Jesus is like God - having the same kind of spirit as God: Holy because they are Holy.
I advice you to see this interesting video, explaining God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit in a very impressive way - supported by many scriptures:

ImmaYah = The Holy Spirit?
In august 2018 I somehow got the idea that Emmanuel should probably be pronounced ImmaYah (Emma = Imma and El = Yah).
I felt peaceful thinking this thought. Then on 27th August 2018 I found this video:
- Asian child sees THE HOLY TRINITY - in Hebrew YAHUVEH / YAHUSHUA / IMMAYAH
She pronounces these names:
* 0:25 Yahusha - Later in the video: Yahushua
* 0:56 Yahaveh or Yahuveh
* 3:17 ImmaYah
* 3:58 Yahushua
* 4:02 ShekinYah Glory
* 5:17 Yahuveh
This made me feel comfortable, because even the name of The Holy Spirit then contains Yah - The short name of God.
But I was also troubled long time. 50/50 confusion does not feel good, when you do not know what to believe: Is God really a Trinity?
Early 2019 I have concluded that The Holy Spirit is of female gender because only The Holy Spirit can change us - and make us "born again".
God the Father in heaven - and Jesus Christ at his right hand - are One because they are Holy and have the same kind of Spirit - The Holy Spirit.
When we are truly born again, we also will be One as true believers - and even One with them through The Holy Spirit.
This Google search may help you receive The Holy Spirit in your heart, so you can become one with Jesus Christ - who is one with our Father:
